"Discerning the Truth"
On the path of ascension, one of the qualities we agreed to master and apply in every aspect of our lives is discernment. Recent studies have been published in the mainstream media indicating that natural vitamins are harmful to our health. Few people question the source of the studies, who funds them or the motivation behind them. "It's Here!"
2012—It’s finally here. With the ending of several major cosmic cycles, the year 2012 has loomed large in our consciousness, especially since the Mayan Calendar became well-known. Characterized as the ‘end times’ and ‘the shift of the ages’, this year has been anticipated with everything from fear and trepidation to joy and excitement. Capitalizing on the fear embedded in the mass consciousness, Hollywood and the mainstream media are ramping up their production of movies and documentaries catastrophizing ‘the end times’. Interestingly, a few of the more recent mainstream documentaries include speculations on the possibility that this is simply the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one, that ‘the end times’ are simply a stepping stone to ‘new beginnings’. With the activation of the crystalline grids, the ascension wave is beginning to permeate mass consciousness. As Lightworkers we have a soul agreement not only to clear our personal energy fields of fear-based core issues and anchor the crystalline frequencies on Earth, but also to share our wisdom in loving service. Each one of us adds a single drop of Light-infused wisdom that ripples throughout mass consciousness changing it forever. Are you doing your part?
"Power Play"
Many old souls continue to sit on the fence, clinging desperately to their conventional lives, trying to remain small and invisible while their guides and angels push them forward to fulfill their soul contracts for this incarnation. Some have fallen off the fence and like Humpty Dumpty ‘can’t be put back together again’, while others reluctantly jump off the fence and take a step forward to face the unknown. Some of the ‘fence sitters’ who have come to me for assistance this year, are very powerful advanced souls. All of them are struggling with their powerful egos, driven by unresolved core karmic issues from significant lifetimes in which they caused harm by misusing their divine Power. Unwilling to move forward now for fear of misusing their Power again, these wounded souls have suppressed their Power, resulting in chronic ill health and destructive or self-destructive behavior patterns. Those who have been willing to do their ‘homework’ releasing their deep core issues, surrendering their self-centered and controlling egos, and trusting themselves enough to offer their gifts and abilities in loving service without fear of causing harm, are experiencing breakthroughs. It’s so important to remember that it isn’t all about ourselves. We are part of the ‘big picture’, the grand plan for ascension and each of us has an essential role to play in that plan, not as ego-centered personalities, but as soul-infused masters.
"Welcome to the Swamp"
Do you remember the old joke, "When you are up to your ass in alligators, it's hard to remember that the reason you came was to drain the swamp!" Many people's mental and emotional bodies are like swamps filled with alligators. The alligators—negative emotions, beliefs and attitudes, repetitive negative thoughts and inner dialog—are the critters that create our reality. If your outer reality resembles the Okefenokee Swamp, your subconscious mind may be harboring alligators. Negative emotions, beliefs and attitudes can result from childhood or social conditioning or religious training. Many deep-seated negative beliefs and attitudes originate from traumatic events resulting in chronic fear-based emotions that affect every aspect of our lives. The original events may have occurred in this life or previous lives. They form the karmic patterns that we carry over from lifetime to lifetime. Cleaning the karmic swamp of lifetimes of karmic issues and negative beliefs is a major part of the Soul’s purpose for this lifetime. However, those who have forgotten why they are stuck in a swamp may need help to drain the swamp and encourage the alligators to relocate!
"Tune Up for Change"
Although I wrote about ‘going green’ several years ago, I feel the message bears repeating. The increasing intensity of the winds of change continue to push us forward, often resulting in stress on a physical body that is not in optimum health. Most people need nutritional supplements today due to their stressful lifestyles and eating food depleted in nutrients and life force energy. Supplements help to maintain balance and energy levels in the body’s glands, organs and systems. "Don't Give Up"Outside my living room window there is a large pine tree. It’s branches provide shade in the summer and block the winter winds. It’s always filled with a variety of birds, from large and boisterous magpies and crows to robins, quail, finches and starlings. It’s delightful to watch their antics. Last fall a bird chose to winter on the top of my air conditioner. Before she got too comfortable and damaged the inside of my air conditioner with bird droppings, we placed a cardboard box on top of the air conditioner on its side to prevent her from getting in. Somehow she found an opening big enough to get through and spent a very comfortable winter. In the spring we plugged up the holes in the box to prevent any birds from eyeing my air conditioner as a potential nesting site. Two finches managed to find a way in and began building a nest. Another round of cardboard and duct tape failed to deter them. They built their nest. Their sheer persistence outlasted my creative solutions to keeping my air conditioner undamaged. As I often tell my clients, in order to succeed on the sometimes rocky path of self-mastery, persistence is the key. These birds are the perfect role models for persistence!
"Spiritual Archeology"
Some clients express concern, not about their health or lack of abundance, but about their inability to find their life purpose. Most of them are already on the path of self-mastery and ascension but want to know what they are here to do, referring to their spiritual service. Many have sought the answer from spiritual teachers, gurus and psychics. Others have attended endless workshops and studied the spiritual writings of masters, past and present. While learning from those who have already mastered the path of self-mastery and ascension is essential to spiritual growth, when it comes to personal discovery, ultimately, you need to go within. To access your life purpose, stored in your DNA, you need to dig deep, clearing away the karmic debris that is covering it up like an archeologist digging through layers of earth to uncover a long buried treasure. Go to your Sacred Heart Center in meditation. Ask your guides and angels to help you access the DNA strands that contain the codes to awaken the cellular memories of your long-buried treasure---the gifts and abilities that you have carried over from many lifetimes in spiritual service to humanity.
"You Got The Power"
As Archangel Michael has reminded us, through Ronna, many old souls agreed to return in female bodies to help restore the Goddess energy, the divine Feminine on Earth. As a collective, we have more than enough power to restore the balance between the masculine and feminine. However, a number of these powerful old souls also brought in disempowering karmic issues from past lives in religious service to be released before they can come out of hiding and truly step into their power to serve as transformers and role models for the divine Feminine. I advised one client who had experienced many lives in religious service (I was shown her body overlaid etherically with layers of nun’s habits from different eras and places): "As you continue to release the related karmic issues as they surface, you will not only permanently heal the karmic wounds that affect your physical health, you will also become a role model for other women. Releasing karmic chains of martyrdom and unworthiness not only restores self-empowerment and self-mastery, but also revitalizes the energy of the true feminine which has been suppressed for thousands of years by the Church and other male-dominated world powers."
"What Goes Up Must Come Down"
As the energies on the planet continue to increase in intensity and frequency, and Mother Earth continues to go through her transformation, many of us feel overly stressed and out of control, especially when personal circumstances force change. Whether the stress is triggered by natural disasters, the anticipation of disaster, by financial or relationship crises, or from being ‘pushed’ to fulfill our soul agreements to step onto the world stage and offer our gifts and abilities to the world, our ability to cope with sudden change and the unknown is being tested. As a result, more lightworkers are experiencing high blood pressure. According to Wikipedia, "hypertension or high blood pressure is a cardiac chronic medical condition in which the systemic arterial blood pressure is elevated. About 90–95% of cases are termed ‘primary hypertension’, which refers to high blood pressure for which no medical cause has been found." Some choose to regulate their condition with medication, others with balanced nutrition and specific supplements, meditation, deep breathing and regular exercise. However, for a permanent solution, the underlying cause which directly affects the individual’s ability to cope with change needs to be dealt with. In my experience working with advanced souls, high blood pressure is often caused by unresolved karmic issues that result in chronic tension---a defensive ‘holding pattern’ that causes the blood pressure to rise. Once the karmic issues have been identified and released, and improvements in lifestyle made, the blood pressure generally returns to normal. Examples of some of the most frequently identified issues related to high blood pressure in advanced souls are: resistance to change; resistance to moving forward; resistance to facing the unknown. These issues, many of which have been carried over from past lives result in feeling out of control and pushed into unfamiliar territory they feel inadequate to cope with. For optimum health, what goes up must come down.
"Hoarding and Hiding"
We are being pushed so hard to let go of the past and come into alignment with the dynamic flow of transformational energies of this ‘Shift of the Ages’, that those who are resisting change to an extreme degree have become the basis of several reality tv shows. The practice of hoarding has been brought to the world’s attention. Terrified of change, of taking personal responsibility for their choices and actions and lacking in adult coping skills, many individuals and families have built a cocoon of security, gathering possessions around them until they are buried alive in ‘stuff’. Most advanced souls have a Soul Contract for self-mastery and service. Those who are hoarders are experiencing extreme discomfort in every aspect of their personal lives as their guides and angels try to push them out of their stagnation and denial in order to move forward and fulfill their higher purpose. For some individuals much personal assistance will be needed to co-create a step-by-step plan for change, including releasing the unresolved core karmic issues responsible for the underlying fear of change and poor coping skills. It’s time for a reality check for those who lack contentment in their personal life, experience chronic anxiety about the future and whose floor space is dwindling from collecting stuff around them. Choosing to change and move forward to take charge of your life may prove to be less painful than the karmic consequences of hoarding and hiding to avoid facing reality and personal responsibility for your choices and actions.
"Open Wide"
In the dentist’s chair, we have all learned to ‘open wide’ to allow the dentist to check our teeth and gums. Opening our chakras can be more of a challenge. Many women suffer from stiffness and pain especially in the neck/shoulder area, chronic fatigue, hormone imbalance, or sinus problems, all of which relate to a weak thyroid and chronic constriction in the throat chakra. The underlying cause of chronic constriction in the throat chakra is a karmic theme of feeling unworthy as a woman, unimportant to be heard, and unworthy of being respected carried over from many lifetimes of experiencing suppression of the divine feminine. This karmic theme often develops from many lifetimes in religious service. Many men suffer from heart related dis-eases. Men are more prone to weak and constricted heart chakras based on a karmic theme of feeling unloved and emotionally unfulfilled. The energy in their heart center is often frozen, unable to receive of radiate love. Through the crucible of chronic ill-health, we are being given an opportunity to look at the conventional practice of suppressing or managing our symptoms with drugs, ignoring the message that our body elemental is sending us, and to review and transform our traditional roles as men and women. As woman release their paralyzing karmic theme and learn to open their throat chakras to express their Soul- Self, freely and confidently without fear of rejection or punishment, and as men learn to open their heart chakras to feeling compassion and tenderness, not only will we see an improvement in our overall health and well-being, but also a shift in the mass consciousness on the planet towards compassion and cooperation and peace.
"Batter Up"
Imagine yourself sitting on the sidelines and cheering on your designated hero—whether it’s in the field of sports such as baseball, in business, entertainment, religion or spirituality, etc. You may worship your hero for their talent, their charisma, their power, their character, their spirituality, or perhaps their ability to make a difference. Having spent a lifetime on the sidelines following and worshiping your hero, you assume that it’s your natural role in life to admire this special and accomplished individual as a designated follower. Believing your hero to be blessed by the hand of God with all of the talent, power and fearlessness that you lack, you may be living out your dreams through them without the responsibility of being like them. Suddenly, you hear the call ‘batter up’! Someone thrusts a baseball bat in your hand, slaps you on the back and says, "Come on, old soul, we need a hit. You can do it. You can make a difference." How do you react? Do you freeze, paralyzed with fear and insecurity? Or do you step up to the plate, willing to face the unknown, trusting that you have the inner resources and guidance to succeed? Countless old souls are now being called to pick up their bat, a symbol of the personal power that they have suppressed, and step up to the plate to face their fears and make a difference. In our soul contracts, we agreed to step into our power and offer our unique gifts and abilities to the world, to become the ‘heroes’ of our time as the collective co-creators of a wondrous new world. Have you stepped up to the plate or are you still sitting on the sidelines? Come on, it’s time. Batter up!
"The SUM—Adding It All Up"
In our modern world our ‘intelligence quotient’ is deemed more valuable for success than our ‘emotional quotient’ or intuition. As attaining money, power and security are the measures of success in our society, focusing on intelligence seems reasonable. Our financial, medical and educational systems are intelligence based. Our ability to reason and access the data base of knowledge that we have accumulated in school, at work and through our relationships, serves us well in this 3D world. However, to succeed in a world rapidly evolving to a quantum 5D paradigm, intelligence alone is inadequate. Eventually, we must all make the journey from our mind to our heart. We must let go of our reliance on intelligence, which is exclusive and limited, and incorporate the heart-based qualities of feeling and intuition, which are inclusive and unlimited. Our Sacred Heart’s wisdom is the pass key to the Sacred Universal Mind, the cosmic database of universal wisdom—the SUM of all knowledge.
"Boundaries"
Many Lightworkers have difficulty setting personal boundaries. For example, ‘people pleasers’ can’t say NO. They give their power away to others as a way of seeking approval to ease their painful feelings of unworthiness and unimportance. Their unconscious tendency to give away personal energy, can result in a depleted energy field, physical exhaustion and feeling victimized by others. Part of the path of self-mastery is learning to value ourselves and be willing to stand in our power as masters, confident and unafraid of rejection or failure. Most Lightworkers are familiar with the concept of the Power of NOW, living moment to moment centered in the Heart. Many however, seem unfamiliar with the Power of NO, the ability to establish personal boundaries. Remember, to achieve self-mastery, it’s important to understand that the Power of NOW includes the Power of NO.
"The Big Picture"
I’ve worked with a number of clients whose souls have chosen a courageous path in this lifetime. Not only have they incarnated with deeply disempowering karma to be released, but also have chosen to step onto the world stage as World Servers. Some, however, are trapped in their karmic issues. They feel deserted by God, victims of a hostile and uncaring universe and utterly insignificant. For some advanced souls, these deep karmic issues have resulted in a life of hardship, pain and suffering. In extreme cases, chronic feelings of hopelessness and insignificance have resulted in self-sabotage and even self-destructive attempts at suicide. Learning about the nature and purpose of the cosmos and creation, and how they fit into "the big picture" is an essential part of the healing process for these deeply wounded souls. Sending forth a Primal Thought that was the seed of the omniverse, Prime Creator gave birth to units of consciousness to co-create countless dimensional universes within the omniverse. To experience the many dimensions within each universe, the original units of consciousness divided themselves into smaller and smaller units to match the frequencies of each dimension. From our perspective, the original units of creation, the monads, are vast star-like beings who divided like cells in our bodies into smaller oversouls and ultimately, into individual souls and soul fragments that could incarnate on planetary systems. As individual units of consciousness we might seem insignificant in the grand scheme of the omniverse. However, it is the individual units—us— who contribute to the growth of our universe, and ultimately, the omniverse, through our individual experiences in the worlds of creation. As individual cells in the body of God, our willingness to heal our karmic wounds and contribute to the evolution of all life through selfless service contributes to the healing and growth of all. There are no insignificant cells in the body of God.
"It’s in the Genes"
Most old souls on the path of self-mastery and ascension have a desire to help others. They have a ‘spiritual service’ gene. However, many well-meaning Lightworkers who believe they are fulfilling their higher purpose in service are actually trapped in servitude. Their ‘spiritual service’ gene is switched off. A misunderstanding of the concept of service often originates from significant lifetimes in religious orders that encouraged martyrdom, servitude and suffering as a path to salvation, resulting in a karmic theme of unworthiness and powerlessness that has been carried over into this incarnation. Driven by their unresolved karmic issues, these Lightworkers give their power away to family, friends and clients while neglecting their own needs. Clients who come to me with this karmic theme are often suffering not only from low self-esteem, lack of abundance and ill health, including chronic fatigue, depression, a severe hormone imbalance or cancer, but also from the stress of additional karma from inadvertently taking on the responsibility for the well-being and happiness of others, sometimes rescuing those who don’t want to change or grow but simply want temporary relief from their pain. Releasing the karmic issues related to unworthiness and their deep-seated fear of being powerful dissolves the karmic overlay of servitude and martyrdom, and switches on their ‘spiritual service’ gene. For your highest good, you can transform the servant mentality that may be keeping you in servitude, ill health and poverty to your true master mentality in spiritual service to all life---including yourself. It’s in the genes!
"Light The Way"
Many selfless and dedicated World Teachers have devoted their lives to awaken us to our greatness and to give us the tools to achieve it. While some are grateful for the revelations and willing to do the work of achieving their highest potential as old souls and accept the torch to continue lighting the way, others are resentful as it often exposes their underlying resistance and state of denial. A state of denial originates from a choice made consciously or unconsciously by a frightened and childish ego in order to prevent change and maintain its feeling of security and comfort. We’ve all heard Mark Twain’s quote, "Denial is more than just a river in Egypt." Many old souls with soul contracts for spiritual growth and service have been comfortable swimming in denial for years. However, with the acceleration of planetary energies, the river is moving too fast for them. They feel like they are being swept along out of control unable to swim to shore or even tread water for survival. While surrendering to the flow of the river of life is the solution, to their frightened egos, surrender means annihilation—ceasing to exist. They are resisting the very thing that will save them. Some of the most resistant are among the next wave of World Teachers who agreed to be the vehicles for spiritual Light and wisdom now as we proceed through the dimensional portals of ascension. Are you willing, Star Seed, to do the work of clearing your karma, stand in your divine power as a master and carry a torch to light the way, or will you choose to let ‘someone else’ be responsible for assisting humanity to evolve and co-create the New Earth? Each time one of us drops the torch to serve our own desires rather than the good of the whole, the pathway becomes dimmer and harder to follow for all of us.
"The Cosmic Library"
In my youth, I worked in both academic and public libraries. It was a dream job for someone with a lifelong love of books and an insatiable appetite for knowledge of ancient civilizations, metaphysics and the workings of the cosmos. Being immersed in books also served to trigger past life memories. One in particular, took place in early Atlantis as a priestess whose task it was to access a crystalline library’s akashic records to retrieve information on request. The process was similar to the opening scenes in the movie Superman, where Superman’s father selected specific data crystals for his son to educate him on his journey to Earth. In this life, my best friend used to tease me by calling me the ‘cosmic librarian’ because of my ability to retrieve information from ‘the ethers’ in answer to even the more ‘esoteric’ questions. Not yet awakened to my Soul-Self and spiritual purpose, I had no idea where the information came from, I was just happy to be of service. Many of us on the path of ascension rely on others whom we perhaps consider more wise, to feed us information and answers to our questions from the akashic records. This is appropriate at the beginning of our spiritual journey. However, eventually we must empower ourselves by learning to access our own ‘cosmic library’ within our DNA. In your daily meditation, just ask your guides and angels for your own cosmic library card!
"Modern Ascension"
